HemorrhoidsPro does not ask you to sign up, and we do not sell personal information. There are no accounts, no comment forms and no display ads on the site.
This page explains the small amount of data involved when you read a page, what our free tools keep on your own device, and what happens when you follow a link to Amazon or another site.
What we collect
We use Cloudflare to host the site. Cloudflare processes basic request data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, so it can deliver pages and block attacks. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across other sites.
The fonts and images load from our own domain. We do not use Google Fonts or other outside font services, so reading a page does not send a request to them.
What stays in your browser
The interactive tools run in your browser. Your answers to the hemorrhoid symptom checker and the foods you add to the fiber calculator are not sent to us, and they are gone when you close the page. The same goes for the other free tools.
The sitz bath timer saves a daily count in your browser’s local storage so it can show how many soaks you have done today. That count never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data for this site. If you want the soak itself, how to take a sitz bath has the steps.
Site search also runs in your browser. It downloads small index files from this site and matches your words on your own device, so we do not receive a list of what you searched for.
Health information
We do not ask for health details, and we cannot see what you enter in the tools. Please do not email us photos, medical records or insurance numbers. The contact page explains what to send instead. Nothing on this site is a medical record, and the medical disclaimer explains what the pages can and cannot do for you.
If you email us
If you write to hello@hemorrhoidspro.com, we receive your email address and your message. We use them to reply and to check or correct the page you wrote about. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your message with a brand.
Amazon and other third parties
Product links on this site go to Amazon.com. When you click one, Amazon and its partners may place or read cookies in your browser and collect information about your visit, including that you arrived from HemorrhoidsPro. Amazon uses this to credit purchases to our Associates account and for its own purposes, as described in the Amazon.com Privacy Notice. How those links earn money is in our affiliate disclosure.
Amazon only learns about your visit if you click a product link. Reading a page with a product card on it does not load anything from Amazon.
Other sites we link to, such as journals, PubMed and government health agencies, have their own privacy policies. They apply once you leave this site.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers can block third-party cookies entirely. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance or, in the EU and UK, Your Online Choices.
You can also use every page and tool on this site with cookies blocked. The only feature that needs browser storage is the sitz bath timer’s daily count, and the timer still works without it.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page. Questions about privacy can go to hello@hemorrhoidspro.com.
