HemorrhoidsPro is free to read, and we do not run display ads. We pay for the research, writing and hosting through affiliate links, mostly to Amazon. A purchase through one of these links can earn us a small commission, and it does not change the price you pay.
This page explains where you will find affiliate links on the site, how we pick the products, and how we keep the money side apart from the medical advice.
Amazon Associates
HemorrhoidsPro is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
When you click a product link on this site and buy something on Amazon, we may earn a small commission. You pay the same price either way, and Amazon decides which purchases qualify. Every link that earns us money goes straight to amazon.com and is marked as sponsored in the page code.

Where you will see affiliate links
Most affiliate links sit on our product pages, such as the best hemorrhoid creams or the best sitz baths. The full list is on the best hemorrhoid products, grouped by type. Some guides and blog posts also show one or two product cards, placed after the text that explains when that kind of product helps.
Any page with an Amazon link carries a short note that says so, and the footer of every page repeats the Amazon statement above. Links to studies, journals and government health pages never earn us money. We add those so you can read the evidence yourself.
How we choose products
No brand or seller can pay for a spot on our lists, send us free products in exchange for coverage, or see a page before it goes live. Our picks come from the same process each time:
- We start with Amazon listings that have a strong rating from a large number of buyers. When we include a product with fewer ratings, the page says why.
- We read what recent buyers say, both the praise and the complaints, and summarize the common themes in our own words.
- We weigh each type of product against the published research. If the studies do not support a product type, we say so, even when it sells well.

The research step is the one that most often changes a list. For example, our page on the best stool softeners includes a fiber capsule, because a trial found that psyllium fiber softened stool better than a common softener. The full research rules are in our editorial policy.
We show a rough price level instead of exact prices, because Amazon prices change often. Check the current price on Amazon before you buy.
What we do not do
We do not copy Amazon customer reviews or star ratings onto our pages, and we do not use redirects or shortened links that hide where a link goes. We do not publish paid articles or sponsored posts.
A commission never changes what a guide says about a treatment or when it tells you to see a doctor. Many flare-ups settle with things you already have at home, like a warm soak in the bathtub and more fiber in your meals, and our guides say so. How to get rid of hemorrhoids fast starts with those steps before it mentions anything you can buy.
Products are not medical advice
A product page tells you what a product type does and what buyers report about a specific listing. It cannot tell you whether that product is right for your body. Read the medical disclaimer and follow the label on anything you buy. If you have heavy bleeding, black stools or severe pain, see a doctor before you try another product. When to see a doctor for hemorrhoids lists the signs.
